"I'm not here to tell you what to do, but I noticed something--something small, that I had to comment on. I don't think you should apologize for your posts. A Women's Studies professor I know will literally make her female students begin their presentation, question, etc. again if there's an apology built in (ex: "that's just my opinion" or "sorry if I'm rambling") because it's so common among female students to apologize for voicing their opinion. You have something to say, rambling or not."

That’s true, that is something that I (and most other women I’ve spoken to) often have a problem with. But that was a pretty egregiously written post…it had like fifteen semicolons. An apology was warranted in that situation. ;)
