No, not at all. I just see that kind of unoriginal Facebook status bullshit from guys in the submissions all the time. His wasn’t even in the top 100 offensive FB submissions I’ve ever received, but if it had been by itself, I would have mocked it a lot more heartily.
The fact that Cassie, herself a woman, piped up to add that all women (presumably herself included) have the IQ of rocks was stunning to me. Ryan can make all the douchey comments he likes, claim it was just a joke, and never be affected by it. Callie actually lives the consequences of the environment created by sexist jokes, prejudices and stereotypes, so I was just far more surprised at her contribution than his.
